Took a wrong turn somewhere (or is it right?)
[When Yuuri wakes up, he's greeted with a pounding headache, the likes of which he's never had before. Opening his eyes gets him an eyeful of cheerful sunlight that sends him whimpering back under the covers. He tries again a few minutes later, just managing to swing his legs over the side of the bed, wincing the whole time.
He freezes when he finally gets a good look at the room. This is...not his hotel room.
The shock is enough to temporarily push back the discomfort and make him jump to his feet. What happened? Where am I? he wonders, when he comes up empty handed after a quick search of the room for his belongings. One hand running through his hair as his panic steadily rises, Yuuri finally starts toward the door, intent on finding answers.]

Around the corner, there's a hall leading out of the room. There's a large closet without a door, that seems to go back forever despite not having many clothes in the space. Closer to the door leading out of what must be a master bedroom is the bathroom, which had the light on the sound of a shower running. It cuts off and there's a pause in sound. A man pops around the corner with a towel over his shoulders and.... nothing else on. His silver hair is wet and he's shaking one side of the towel through it. His eyes focus on Yuri and a smile crosses his face.]
Yuri! You're awake! [his own nakedness is the last thing on his mind]
no subject
Wh...what? [Yuuri stammers, unable to form a coherent sentence. That's Victor Nikiforov. And he's naked, his brain supplies helpfully. The rest is essentially white noise as Yuuri realizes he's staring and quickly averts his gaze to the floor. Yes, that's much safer.]
no subject
Instead he just goes down with the man, landing on top of him in a naked heap]
no subject
The only thing he manages to do is turn completely red, the heat just about radiating from his face.]
no subject
Oof..! Sorry! H-hey, are you alright? [oh god, he was just trying to help! He'll crawl to his feet, grabbing his towel which fell off his shoulders. Damn wood flooring, he should have carpet in these rooms... He'll finally have the decency to tuck the towel around his waist, before grabbing Yuri above the elbows to hoist up]
no subject
It's you. [He stares up at Victor, bewildered. It's barely a whisper, but at least he's managing to get the words out.] What are you doing here?
no subject
It is my house.
no subject
Your house? Then... what am I doing here? [He asks tentatively, as if he's afraid to hear the answer.]

Shower and clothes would be great. [Remembering that he's only dressed in his briefs and socks, Yuuri blushes and decides to figure out the rest once he's decent again. Although....there's something bothering him about all this. His state of undress, Victor's lack of clothes, being in Victor's home--it hits him in a second.
No way. Yuuri's eyes widen even as he squeaks out] Did...did we...?
no subject
Have sex? No, no, you were far too drunk. [He's not that kind of guy, no matter how cute and sexy he found his sloppy drunk dream man.]
no subject
Thank you for bringing me back here, then. [Yuuri murmurs. It's still so surreal to him, but he is grateful that Victor was apparently looking out for him.]
I, um... [He glances up at Victor, trying to push back the rising mortification at what he has to ask, and failing miserably.] Might have to borrow something to wear until I can get my things from the hotel. [The words rush out in one breath, probably just a little incomprehensible. After everything, it's too much to hope that Victor managed to collect his belongings before they left.]
no subject
The shower should still be warm, so go right a head. I'll get you some clothes and leave them on the bed for you. Towels are clear, cabinets have aspirin somewhere, feel free to rummage around. [he doesn't keep anything personal around his vacation home and it... really showed. It may as well be a hotel, for how unlived in it felt.]
no subject
Thanks. [He says too quickly and then practically throws himself into the bathroom to escape.
When he emerges some time later, he feels much more human. The painkillers are kicking in, making the headache much more bearable, and most of his skin's covered again. Victor's shirt hangs a little loosely on him, but there's no helping that at the moment. As Yuuri tugs absently at the hem, he takes in the house with clearer eyes.
Victor's been nothing but kind to him so far--if a little more teasing than Yuuri would have expected--but the house feels...empty somehow. It makes Yuuri frown slightly as he examines the mostly bare walls.]
no subject
Victor isn't in the room after, he's gotten dressed himself and is out in the kitchen. The room Yuri was in was large, but doesn't really compare to the rest of the house it opens out into. If he hears the door open, he'll look over his shoulder a wave from the stove, he's put on some tea so it smells quite nice.]
no subject
Thanks for all of this.
[Shyly, he waves a hand at himself, indicating the clothes.] Um, did you see my phone anywhere? I should call Mr. Celestino and let him know where I am.
no subject
You threw your phone across the room last night and it shattered.
no subject
I did what?
no subject
It fell out of your pocket and when someone tried to hand it back, you just threw it!
Rather gleefully I might add. [but with literally no explanation]
no subject
[He's also starting to get the feeling the rest of the night wasn't much better for his dignity. For one, he doesn't remember anything past the second flute of champagne and that's a bad sign. Yuuri peeks up at Victor through his fingers.]
Was I really that drunk?
no subject
What can you remember?
no subject
Thanks. [Yuuri says quietly, automatically curling his hands around the cup, though he doesn't drink yet.]
I...I just remember arriving at the banquet. I wasn't going to go at first, but Mr. Celestino insisted. [A frown flits across his lips as he tries to sift through muddled memories.] I remember the champagne. [He closes his eyes, suddenly looking pained.] A lot of champagne.

You wandered up and I think you meant to introduce yourself, but instead you just said "I'm going to talk to Victor Nikiforov".
Which I thought was quite funny!
no subject
I'm so sorry. [The words tumble out in a hurry.] I hope I didn't cause you too much trouble.
