Took a wrong turn somewhere (or is it right?)
[When Yuuri wakes up, he's greeted with a pounding headache, the likes of which he's never had before. Opening his eyes gets him an eyeful of cheerful sunlight that sends him whimpering back under the covers. He tries again a few minutes later, just managing to swing his legs over the side of the bed, wincing the whole time.
He freezes when he finally gets a good look at the room. This is...not his hotel room.
The shock is enough to temporarily push back the discomfort and make him jump to his feet. What happened? Where am I? he wonders, when he comes up empty handed after a quick search of the room for his belongings. One hand running through his hair as his panic steadily rises, Yuuri finally starts toward the door, intent on finding answers.]

Then, he's struck by a sudden sense of horror. "Oh my god"?? That's--is that a good reaction or a bad one?? Yuuri clutches at his chest with his free hand, looking at Victor imploringly.]
H-how is it?

[Victor stop yelling]

Um, yeah, my mom's katsudon is the best. I've tried katsudon in other places before, but I haven't found one that I liked more than hers. [He shifts happily in his seat.] I'm glad you like it so much. I wouldn't mind cooking it for you, whenever you feel like having it again.
[If that wasn't obvious enough already.]

MMmnnnnnmnhhhm--! Yuuri, marry me yesterday..!

Yuuri enjoys good food a lot, of course he does, but even he wouldn't have predicted his katsudon would get this kind of reaction. The marriage proposal only makes his face turn even redder.]
I... [He laughs nervously, face still aflame. Calm down, he has to tell himself. Victor's just joking.] I've never gotten a proposal because of my cooking before.
no subject
Is he?]
You must not have cooked for many people, then! [He says this between bites, rice getting stuck to his cheeks as he greedily ate his, but also tried to savor it, but also tried to pay attention to Yuuri]
no subject
[It's a very exclusive club, apparently. Yuuko and Takeshi probably should've been on that list, but with his mom's far superior cooking available instead, Yuuri had just never bothered back then.
Smiling, Yuuri begins eating his meal, too, trying not to be too aware of Victor's eyes on him even as he looks back.]
Ah, you have... [Eyes lighting up with amusement, Yuuri unthinkingly reaches out unthinkingly and brushes the stray rice from Victor's cheeks with his thumb.]
no subject
I've never been so doted on!
no subject
Sorry! I wasn't thinking. [He stammers, hand curled against his chest. What was he thinking?] I-I'm not usually this... you know. Touchy. With people.

You should really warn me before you say things like that. [Yuuri says to the top of the table, the tips of his ears pinking up. His heart can't take all the suggestive things Victor keeps throwing out so freely!]
no subject
I'd let you lick anywhere you wanted, Yuuri.
no subject
Then, slowly, like he can't help but ask out of curiosity--] ...would you really?
[As much as Victor's forwardness embarrasses him, it intrigues him as well. In Japan, especially in a small town like Hasetsu, a statement so bold would've been shocking. And even in America, Yuuri had never really had this kind of attention directed at him.]

Letting those words hang between them, Yuuri quickly goes back to eating his food, maybe just a little concerned that Victor's drawing these things out of him so easily.]
no subject
Mmn, do you ever have, how do I put it..? [he'll lick his lips idly, thinking]
Memories from tasting something? You forget a moment for a while and then a flavor or smell brings it back--?
no subject
I think I know what you mean. [He pauses, gaze going unfocused.] I haven't been back in Hasetsu with my family in years. Sometimes, something will just suddenly remind me of it. [Yuuri cocks his head to the side, eyes inquisitive.] Were you reminded of something just now?

It... it is a nice thought. [Expression soft, he meets Victor's gaze for a second before dropping his gaze back down to the table.] I'll think of you, and all this, whenever I have katsudon from now on, too. [Two of his favorite things together. Though he does still want to prove himself to Victor on the ice, the time he's spent with Victor today has already become incredibly precious to him.]

Abruptly, his thoughts screech to a halt. Wait. Wedding? How can Victor just throw that out so casually--oh. Right. He's just joking.]
I-it wouldn't be champagne anyway. It'd be sake. [There's still a slight stutter, despite Yuuri's best efforts to calm his racing heart and try for a casual, teasing tone as well.] My parents would be disappointed, and Minako-sensei would hunt me down if I got married anywhere but Hasetsu.
no subject
I get wild on sake, you'll have to watch out.

[This is a dangerous line he's toeing here, playing along with Victor's joke. Even though they've only spent the day together, it's all too easy to see how he might want everything they're describing sometime in the future. Sometime soon, if he's honest. Somehow, this Victor--far more within reach than the idol he'd placed on a pedestal before--is a little too easy to fall in love with, quirks and all.]

You're really close to your family, aren't you?
no subject
Ah... I guess you could say that. I haven't been home to see them in years. [That might be a quick flash of guilt in his eyes.] We've done video chats, but it's not the same.
