Took a wrong turn somewhere (or is it right?)

[When Yuuri wakes up, he's greeted with a pounding headache, the likes of which he's never had before. Opening his eyes gets him an eyeful of cheerful sunlight that sends him whimpering back under the covers. He tries again a few minutes later, just managing to swing his legs over the side of the bed, wincing the whole time.

He freezes when he finally gets a good look at the room. This is...not his hotel room.

The shock is enough to temporarily push back the discomfort and make him jump to his feet. What happened? Where am I? he wonders, when he comes up empty handed after a quick search of the room for his belongings. One hand running through his hair as his panic steadily rises, Yuuri finally starts toward the door, intent on finding answers.]

I know it is! I got overconfident and dropped myself, last time! [that look, don't give him that look, how is supposed to resist that look? Victor has to let a laugh escape just to release the tension that kind of look causes]

He'll be extra jealous of you, in that case.

[Oblivious to Victor's thoughts, Yuuri just continues to smile at him.]

We could set some cushions on the ground to keep us from hitting the floor too hard. I thought the point of this was to stop Chris from feeling jealous?

There's no stopping Chris, there's only degrees in which he'll be jealous. He's been texting me this whole time asking about our, ahem-- Steamy. Love. Affair. [he'll say that as blandly as possible to joke on it, though he smirks after. Tossing a sloppy tennis ball down a hallway might not be a sensual activity, but Victor didn't care what they were doing if Yuuri kept on smiling at him that way]

[Yuuri blinks, hand lifting to his mouth in surprise.]

Oh--right, he was there yesterday night. I guess...he saw us leaving together.

[He can't even blame Chris for jumping to that conclusion, when he'd done the same earlier.]

I haven't told him anything, but he's convinced we've been going at it this whole time. I get a text of encouragement about everrrrrry-- [he'll check his phone, scrolling up] --20 minutes. He's so persistent.

[yokunaru]

[Ahh that's a little embarrassing. Yuuri coughs, ducking his head.]

Really, every 20 minutes? That, um, pretty persistent, alright. I guess he'd be disappointed if you told him we...haven't.. done anything yet. [He's so flustered by the sudden interest in his sex life, he doesn't realize he's tacked on that last word.]

[Victor chuckles, wanting so badly to tease the "yet", but it was implied wasn't it? He was interested, he let Yuuri know in no uncertain terms, Yuuri let him know that if it could happen slow, it might yet happen. Victor can hold himself back.

He'll tease something else, instead, the impulse was there, after all.]

I haven't said anything yet. Do you want to mess with him?

[yokunaru]

[There's a pause as Yuuri seemingly battles with the better-natured part of himself, but the temptation is too strong and wins out in the end. Chris has always been a bit shameless when it comes to teasing Yuuri every time they meet up at a competition, it wouldn't hurt for him to get teased in return for once.

Yuuri's grinning when he looks up again.] Okay. Let's do it.

[wauuu]

[Victor smirks, looking at his phone, ready to type]

Alright, what have we been doing this whole time? It has to start just scandalous enough to be believable, but then we'll go off the rails.

[yokunaru]

[It had seemed like a good idea, but now that Viktor's asking for input, Yuuri draws a blank.]

What about--we ordered food and then we fed each other in bed?

[Mmm he bites his lip. Not scandalous enough, maybe?]

[wauuu]

[Victor's eyes light up and he bites his bottom lip through a chuckle]

Okay, okay... "Chris, I have to tell someone about this, but promise you won't share. He's totally amazing..." I sent that much. [he giggles] Now the food thing, that's perfect, wait, what food did we get?

[yokunaru]

[He's trying hard not to react to the praise, and failing miserably, even if he knows Victor's just exaggerating it to mess with Chris.]

We did get the piroshki earlier. [He relaxes at Victor's giggle, lighting up with anticipation again.]

[wauuu]

"We got piroshki and I ate one off his" oooh... is chest or abs funnier?

[yokunaru]

[Yuuri squirms a little.] Um... chest?

[wauuu]

"... off his chest." Sent.


He's going to freak out. [Victor laughs to the throw the ball again for Makkachin, there's a loud BZZ of his phone before the dog is even back. He clears his throat to read the response]

"omg no way was he still drunk?" hmmm, I got it--

"No, that was breakfast" Sent.

[yokunaru]

[Yuuri lets out a little giggle of his own at Chris' text. This is, admittedly, kind of fun. When Makkachin scrambles back to them, Yuuri momentarily takes over the ball-throwing as Victor's still fiddling with his phone.]

It's too bad we can't see his face when he's reading these.

[wauuu]

I'd pay anything to see his face, right now... Don't pick up if he calls you, he's going to call you. [BZZZ, another text]

"it's the middle of the day" [BZZZ] Ha... "have you been screwing this whole time?" [BZZZ, Victor perks an eyebrow] "I knew it. He's--" [Victor starts laughing, barely getting out the words through his laughter] "H-He's a total freak." Haa....

"The quiet ones always are."

[yokunaru]

I won't. [With obviously curiosity and amusement, Yuuri props his chin in one hand and watches Victor's phone continue to buzz with messages.

...until he hears the last bit, and chokes.]

Chris... he already had that kind of impression of me even before the banquet??

[But why!]

[wauuu]

Chris assumes everybody is a secret pervert! I think he's right a lot of the time. [Victor chuckles. BZZZZ.]

"That's not all, right? What happened last night?" He put a lot of question marks. What did we do last night, Yuuri?

[yokunaru]

[Yuuri makes a face before he can help himself.]

Slept. If he thinks I could do anything while I had that much champagne in me, he's totally mistaken. [As he's talking, though, a pensive look crosses his face, like he just thought of something.]

[wauuu]

"He was too drunk that night, Chris!" Sent. [Victor just chuckles]

So we had a really wild morning?

[yokunaru]

I was going to say we could've showered together, but that could've happened this morning, too.

[He laughs, waiting for the telltale buzz that's sure to follow soon.] Sounds pretty wild to me.

[wauuu]

[Victor blushes just a bit, not because he thinks that's actually wild, but because he thinks it's SO CUTE that Yuuri thinks that's wild. He's secretly thrilled at the insight, it was giving him a cute, candid look into how Yuuri thought about this stuff. Victor, of course, has to up the ante]

"After breakfast we spent hours in the shower together. The whole house steamed up." Sent.

[yokunaru]

[This time he does put both hands to his cheeks as they warm.]

H-hours? In the shower?

[What could you even do for hours..? Actually, no, that's a dangerous line of thinking, and Yuuri tries to cut it off before his imagination can run away with him. When the phone buzzes again, Yuuri's eyes immediately fall to it with a little more determination than necessary.] Ah, he replied...

[wauuu]

"you'd run out of hot water before that whole house steamed up" haa! Well, that is rather likely... [such a big, silly house]

"do you want to argue about my water heater or hear more?" sent!

Alright, what happened after the shower? Something more outlandish... ah, I got it! [a fingersnap]

"he knows those fancy japanese bondage knots, you know the kind"
