Took a wrong turn somewhere (or is it right?)
[When Yuuri wakes up, he's greeted with a pounding headache, the likes of which he's never had before. Opening his eyes gets him an eyeful of cheerful sunlight that sends him whimpering back under the covers. He tries again a few minutes later, just managing to swing his legs over the side of the bed, wincing the whole time.
He freezes when he finally gets a good look at the room. This is...not his hotel room.
The shock is enough to temporarily push back the discomfort and make him jump to his feet. What happened? Where am I? he wonders, when he comes up empty handed after a quick search of the room for his belongings. One hand running through his hair as his panic steadily rises, Yuuri finally starts toward the door, intent on finding answers.]

Though, maybe it will be, if they know you've been a fan.

They... definitely know about that, too.

It's not impressive--just... lucky, I think. [Lucky that he'd somehow caught Victor's eye at all.] They knew I was hoping to meet you at the Grand Prix Final, except no one imagined it would turn out this way.

Whichever, I'm pleased it happened.

Yuuri's lips curl up into a smile.]
I like that, too. It makes me think that, even if I stayed here because of bad circumstances, things turned out for the better.
no subject
Though maybe the latter also works. What with all the poledancing that's happened..

Besides, Disney movies usually have happy endings... [He trails off, trying not to look too hopeful. Would it be too presumptuous to want things to work out between them so soon already? This is so out of his usual comfort zone, Yuuri doesn't even know what he should expect anymore.]
no subject
We'll have plenty opportunities for happy endings. [zing!]
no subject
He gasps, like he's scandalized.] Victor. You--you know what I meant!
[But he's laughing a moment later, so maybe not that scandalized.]

Feigning annoyance, Yuuri reaches over and gives Victor's chest a pointed jab.] I'm not sure if I should be cooking for you if you're just going to laugh at me.

Hmm that didn't sound very sincere. I'm not sure if I believe you. [Joking around with Victor like this gives him a surge of confidence. Yuuri raises his brows expectantly, even as he lets his hand rest on Victor's chest instead of poking him again.]

The apology. You didn't seem like you meant it at all. [There's a flash of something almost coy in his expression this time.] I think you need to make it up to me somehow.
no subject
How should I do that?
no subject
I'm sure you can think of something. [Yuuri says softly, though he does lift his chin just so, giving Victor a hint.]
no subject
Is that better?
no subject
Hmm. [He says, as if he needs to think about it. On the one hand, he's going way out of his comfort zone with all this teasing and physical affection. On the other...he does like being kissed a lot.] I don't know. You might have to convince me some more.
no subject
I feed you some of that dinner you're making?
no subject
I think you've got a deal. [His eyes flick up to meet Victor's for a moment, before he leans in again, hopefully. One more kiss before he goes back to cooking?]

Motivated by his desire to put another smile on Victor's face, Yuuri focuses on preparing the ingredients and then quickly putting the dish together. Luckily for him, he's had a decent amount of practice making katsudon on his own, and the recipe comes easily to him.]
Almost done. [Yuuri tells him a while later, eyes bright as he's scooping the rice into two bowls.] I hope you're hungry.

I don't think I own any chopsticks, is it a crime to eat these with a fork?
