Took a wrong turn somewhere (or is it right?)

[When Yuuri wakes up, he's greeted with a pounding headache, the likes of which he's never had before. Opening his eyes gets him an eyeful of cheerful sunlight that sends him whimpering back under the covers. He tries again a few minutes later, just managing to swing his legs over the side of the bed, wincing the whole time.

He freezes when he finally gets a good look at the room. This is...not his hotel room.

The shock is enough to temporarily push back the discomfort and make him jump to his feet. What happened? Where am I? he wonders, when he comes up empty handed after a quick search of the room for his belongings. One hand running through his hair as his panic steadily rises, Yuuri finally starts toward the door, intent on finding answers.]

[That definitely isn't helping the blush fade at all. Yuuri peeks up at Victor, his words striking a chord of curiosity in him.]

So you're... [He clears his throat, appearing to brace himself for whatever Victor's answer might be.] You're not upset that I don't, um. Remember what happened at the banquet?

["Interesting" isn't a word he'd use to describe himself, honestly, and since Victor hadn't seemed to recognize him when he offered a picture together... Yuuri can only assume he'd caught Victor's attention when he was drunk. It wouldn't bother him so much if those pictures hadn't painted him as a completely different person.]

It's a little frustrating! I had a lot of fun with you, Chris, and the others; a shame you don't share the same. [His tone is acceptance, though there's no thrill. He does spark some enthusiasm to say]

We'll just have to make some new memories together, won't we? [That wink, but it's a bit different, a bit more flirtatious than normal]

[yokunaru]

[His gaze is surprisingly level as he studies Victor now, appreciating the honesty in his reply. Crazy as this day's been so far, Yuuri would be lying if it said he didn't enjoy seeing Victor like this, and getting to know him outside of the interviews and skating videos. He doesn't want that to change yet.]

I'd like that. [They're said softly, but earnestly.]

Very good! I'd hate for you to think I'm some creep who stole away with you. You're quite persuasive when drunk. Not too persuasive, but quite a bit.

[yokunaru]

I wouldn't have thought that anyway! [He says this with certainty.]

What...did I say when I was drunk? You showed me the pictures, but did something else happen?

[wauuu]

Do you really want to know?

Judging by how you've acted sober, you'll be terribly embarrassed.

[yokunaru]

So there was more. [This time he manages to stifle the preemptive groan of embarrassment. Then, he steels himself.]

I want to know. Even if I am embarrassed.

[He's already forgotten dancing with Viktor. In the end, Yuuri figures that knowing is better than not.]

[wauuu]

You really wanted me to take your virginity.

It was practically a demand.

[yokunaru]

[There's no stopping the whimper that escapes him this time, but he gamely tries to recover anyway. Just ignore his red face.]

Well, I did ask.

[wauuu]

I wasn't sure if you were making a joke or not! Aren't you in your early twenties? [subtext; how are you still a virgin at your age?]

[yokunaru]

[He's just. Going to slowly drop his face into his hands again.

The silence says it all: yup he sure is a virgin at 23.]

Wow! You're like finding a unicorn!

[Victor: probably not helping]

[yokunaru]

[Spoilers: it definitely isn't helping.]

I just never found anyone I was interested in. It's not that rare.

[he'll point to himself, grinning like he's incredibly flattered]

You've waited all that time, but I make the cut, for you? What a compliment!

That's--! [Flustered, Yuuri immediately tries to deny everything, but cuts himself off before he can really do so because he really can't argue with that. Especially when he has an impressive collection of posters plastered all over his room back in Hasetsu.

Yuuri bites his lip, looking away.]

You charm people left and right everywhere you go. I'm pretty sure you know a lot of people find you attractive.

[wauuu]

I still find it flattering. [even if he expects it, it's a good feeling]

Especially when it's someone cute as you.

[yokunaru]

Oh. [He smiles tentatively. This could take some getting used to. Then, because he feels like an explanation is still needed, he adds softly-] It's not just the looks. It was your skating, too. [It's a little embarrassing to be admitting this to the man himself, but Yuuri keeps going.] I liked the way you moved across the ice. That's what really caught my attention.

So. There. [Feeling his blush keenly, Yuuri clears his throat and quickly fixes his gaze back on the laptop screen.]

[wauuu]

[there's a cute silence as Victor just smiles through the little confessions. They're quite precious, he can tell Yuri is sincere. It only once Yuri focuses back on the computer that Victor can't help himself any more. He slides up close behind him, the tips of his fingers tickling at the red curve of Yuri's ear. Teasing as possible he coos]

Soooo... you're a fanboy~? [at least he makes it sound cute and alluring, not childish]

[yokunaru]

[Yuuri inhales sharply, starting to lean into the touch before he catches himself.]

Um. [There's really no point in denying it now, is there?] I guess if you put it that way...

[wauuu]

That's so cute. [smitten and sincere he'll add]

I don't think I've fallen for a fan, before.

[yokunaru]

F-fallen? [Yuuri's eyes widen. That's a pretty heavy word.

He's not so dense that he'd misunderstand the flirting when Victor's been straightforward about it, but to imply that there's more than just attraction makes Yuuri's head spin. And he's pretty sure that's not the hangover making a comeback.]

[wauuu]

[he's behind where Yuri is seated, leaning his chest against the man's back and looking over his shoulder. He can make out Yuri's expression in somewhat profile. This is too strong, right? Victor thinks he should back up, but he wasn't blocking Yuri in, the man could bail from the seat to either side, Victor's arms crossing behind his own back.]

I brought you home, Yuri. Maybe it was protective, I really didn't want you falling into the wrong hands. [he considers the robbery a moment, and Yuri's utter lack of memory of the part]

Very glad I did, too.

[yokunaru]

[Though Yuuri tenses up at first, he slowly relaxes and doesn't try to scoot away. True, Victor's close, but he's not being pushy about this, and that makes all the difference in the world to Yuuri.]

I'm...glad you did, too. [Yuuri's head bows slightly as he stares down at his lap. He can feel Victor's eyes on him, but instead of making him falter, it only makes him want to get the words out even more.]

You said have time to get to know each other now. [He breathes in.] After--after I know you better, I think I could fall for you, too. I want to make up for the memories that I don't have anymore.

[wauuu]

[Victor will straighten up, giving Yuri space after he makes his little point. He's attracted to Yuri, he's glad that's clear, but that's not all it's about. Getting to know Yuri was what he wanted just as much, if not more, than some physical fling.]

I wish it was under better circumstances, but let's make the best of this time. I'm curious about you, Katsuki Yuri. [he laughs a little after the name, since he probably existed more as Victor Nikiforov in Yuri's mind than just... Victor.]

[yokunaru]

Let's do that. [Victor's laugh pulls a smile out of him, emboldens him to turn his head and let Victor see that he wants this, too. It's not his style, that's for sure, and he can imagine both friends and family voicing their shock, but all Yuuri has to do is think of those pictures of them smiling and dancing together to feel certain again.

His head jerks up in surprise when he hears a knock and some muffled Russian from the front door. Yuuri glances over at Victor.]

Think it's the food or the police?
