Took a wrong turn somewhere (or is it right?)
[When Yuuri wakes up, he's greeted with a pounding headache, the likes of which he's never had before. Opening his eyes gets him an eyeful of cheerful sunlight that sends him whimpering back under the covers. He tries again a few minutes later, just managing to swing his legs over the side of the bed, wincing the whole time.
He freezes when he finally gets a good look at the room. This is...not his hotel room.
The shock is enough to temporarily push back the discomfort and make him jump to his feet. What happened? Where am I? he wonders, when he comes up empty handed after a quick search of the room for his belongings. One hand running through his hair as his panic steadily rises, Yuuri finally starts toward the door, intent on finding answers.]

Also, he'd do nearly anything to see that wide brim smile on the man's face.]
Dinner time, nearly. We should make something. [snowed in and all, not going to be able to order take out...]

[Yuuri ruffles the fur around Makkachin's neck again before standing back up and stretching. It takes him a second to remember which way the kitchen is.]
You really don't care what I decide to cook first? Last chance to pick something!

[There's a pause before he smiles at Victor sweetly.] Let's go with that. I want to share that with you.
no subject
Is this a family recipe?
no subject
I still think hers taste way better than any I've made so far. Maybe because I grew up eating her cooking. [There's a moment of shy hesitation.] Um, mine tastes decent, but you should try my mom's if you're in Japan...
[Is he trying to invite Victor to the family onsen in a very roundabout way? Yes...yes, he is. He isn't sure where this thing of theirs is going to go, but Yuuri would like to think it could end up lasting for some time. So he hopes.]
no subject
Ooh, am I invited to stay with you, sometime? That sounds divine!

Quickly, he sets it down on the counter with the rest of the things he'll pulled out.]
I think my parents would really like to meet you. [Yuuri looks up from where he's pulling out the bag of rice they'd purchased earlier.] I mean, we're... d-dating now, and you've really been looking out for me since the banquet.

no subject
Um. I haven't taken anyone home before.
[Is that too pathetic? It's one thing to lack sexual experience, and another to have no experience in dating whatsoever...]

He coughs.] I... I haven't said anything to them, but I think they might have guessed.

His ears redden as he hastily busies himself with the preparations again.]
A-anyway! The point is, they wouldn't be surprised.
no subject
Though, maybe it will be, if they know you've been a fan.
no subject
They... definitely know about that, too.

It's not impressive--just... lucky, I think. [Lucky that he'd somehow caught Victor's eye at all.] They knew I was hoping to meet you at the Grand Prix Final, except no one imagined it would turn out this way.
no subject
Whichever, I'm pleased it happened.

Yuuri's lips curl up into a smile.]
I like that, too. It makes me think that, even if I stayed here because of bad circumstances, things turned out for the better.
no subject
Though maybe the latter also works. What with all the poledancing that's happened..

Besides, Disney movies usually have happy endings... [He trails off, trying not to look too hopeful. Would it be too presumptuous to want things to work out between them so soon already? This is so out of his usual comfort zone, Yuuri doesn't even know what he should expect anymore.]
no subject
We'll have plenty opportunities for happy endings. [zing!]
no subject
He gasps, like he's scandalized.] Victor. You--you know what I meant!
[But he's laughing a moment later, so maybe not that scandalized.]
