Took a wrong turn somewhere (or is it right?)

[When Yuuri wakes up, he's greeted with a pounding headache, the likes of which he's never had before. Opening his eyes gets him an eyeful of cheerful sunlight that sends him whimpering back under the covers. He tries again a few minutes later, just managing to swing his legs over the side of the bed, wincing the whole time.

He freezes when he finally gets a good look at the room. This is...not his hotel room.

The shock is enough to temporarily push back the discomfort and make him jump to his feet. What happened? Where am I? he wonders, when he comes up empty handed after a quick search of the room for his belongings. One hand running through his hair as his panic steadily rises, Yuuri finally starts toward the door, intent on finding answers.]

[Theeere he is, there's that confident, drop dead sexy, dream man from the banquet. Victor is honestly swept away for a moment, but he's more than happy to laugh through what could be embarrassing, otherwise. He fans himself with a hand dramatically]

Phew! It got hotter in here, I think!

[When Yuuri lets go of the pole, he's pink in the cheeks but grinning and looking a little pleased with himself.]

Your turn now. Were you watching me carefully?

[The words come out without a stutter, but the way the blush darkens, even spreading to the tips of his ears gives him away. Still, Yuuri isn't lacking in determination when he puts his mind to something. He looks Victor right in the eyes as he says all this, and doesn't look away once.]

[Confidence through Yuuri's obvious embarrassment is wildly attractive, maybe more than the pole dancing itself! Victor sighs, waving his hand even more to further the joke]

Mercy, Yuuri! Of course I was! [he's going to the pole after, not willing to stop now. He HAD paid attention, but there's a lot of feeling out to do on his own. He goes for a spin and doesn't quite get the momentum needed. Determined, he'll try again, a bit better, but not much.]

A lighter grip or more force?

More force. [He steps closer, seemingly pausing for a second to debate with himself before he gets an oddly determined look on his face. This time, he gets right into Victor's space to adjust his grip on the pole and then even putting his hands on Victor's hips to adjust his posture. He blushes the whole time, but he does it. Victor's playful encouragement of his attempts at flirting is doing wonders for his confidence.]

Okay, try it again. This time swing your outer leg a little more, too.

Okay, don't be where I could kick you! [Victor is more than pleased with the instructional touches and closeness, but he knows he can be clumsy when learning something new. He'll hoist himself around the pole, as Yuuri said, legs swinging around and allowing him to land softly. Not perfect, but much smoother!]

[Yuuri backs up just enough to stay out of range, but otherwise stays close, practically beaming when Victor's adjustments let him complete the spin this time.]

That was a lot better, Victor!

[Victor grins, doing it once more just a bit more solid, feeling confident on it. He'll leave room for Yuuri to take the pole again]

What's next? Show me something impressive that I definitely can't do, so I work up to it. [having a solid goal in mind helps him!]

[Yuuri laughs quietly, hands pressed together over his lips as he thinks. Having this much fun while teaching Victor the basics of pole dancing is something a little unexpected. He'd honestly thought he would just seize up with nerves when he first offered it in the morning, and never has he been happier to be wrong.]

Well, there's this one trick I've always wanted to be able to do, but I haven't been able to get it right yet. It takes more strength than skill, though.

More strength than you have? You held up Chris so easy! He's taller than me! [sounds like a really impressive trick!]

[It takes a second to recall the picture that Victor might've been talking about. He shakes his head.]

I still could brace myself against the pole when I held Chris up. This one... here, I'll just show you.

[Yuuri moves toward the pole again, waiting for Victor to step back. Before he swings himself up. He breathes in deeply before tucking his legs up to his chest and then extending his legs out straight. For a second, he's perpendicular to the pole. He quickly drops back down to the ground when his arms start shaking from the strain.]

You get the picture. I can't really hold it for very long. [He's a little breathless as he smiles sheepishly.]

Wow!! [Victor just claps excitedly, so impressed by the display] That's so much full body muscle control! Amazing!

[The praise gets to him immediately, spreading warmth through him until his smile turns pleased instead.]

Really? I couldn't even stay up there very long, though.

I definitely couldn't do that at all! I wonder if Chris can, he's so lanky. Seems extra difficult if you're taller. [Chris mostly showed off how damn flexible he was because of course he did]

His height probably would work against him here... [Yuuri muses, letting go of the pole finally.] We could always ask him to show us at the party.

And...you just started today. I'm sure that you'll pick up a bunch of the tricks-- [As he talks, he leans back against the pole slightly.. and that turns out to be a bad idea when one of the mats they'd laid out starts slipping across the wooden floor, taking Yuuri with it. Down he goes with an indignant squawk.]

Yuuri! [There's no thought to warn Yuuri, but Victor is so focused on him that he reacts quickly to the slipping. Both his hands reach out, trying to anchor onto Yuuri somehow to keep him from hitting the ground. Of course, he's also standing on the mats, he could very well slip and go down with him, just like that morning.

At least he's slightly less naked this time?]

[He has the wind knocked out of him when they land on the mats hard, and for a second, all he can do is stare up at Victor, stunned by the quick turn of events.

Then, he starts laughing.]

I guess that was going to happen sooner or later. I'm surprised we didn't slip and fall before this.

[Yep, Victor only ends up catching Yuuri's shoulder with one hand, catching himself on the others if still tangling all over the other man once they're on the ground. He looks equally surprised as Yuuri until the man cuts the tension with his laughter. Victor sighs in relief, letting out an awkward chuckle of his own]

Lets try not to! Getting hurt while you're snowed in is no fun at all.

Yeah. [His laugh peters off, though he's still left smiling.] Good thing we set the mats up before we started this.

[Then his brows scrunch with concern.] You didn't get hurt, did you?

No, no, in fact, this is quite comfortable. [bodies resting together, skin touching practically all down their legs. The hand on Yuuri's shoulder moves to cup his cheek, thumb rubbing gently by the corner of his lip]

If I kissed you now, would that be too fast?

[It is comfortable--a little too much so, if Yuuri's honest. There's just something incredibly appealing about Victor's body pressing down on him like this. He doesn't doubt that Victor can feel him trembling a little as he rubs at his lip.]

No. [Yuuri says softly, face flushed as one hand curls in Victor's shirt and tugs him down to get his point across.]

[That's all it takes for Victor, who leans in with the tugging of clothes. He kisses Yuuri on the lips, mouth just slightly open, humming pleased against the other man's slightly chapped skin. It's good, nothing could be better, he thinks, not for this moment. His heart races and he... doesn't want to stop. He wants to keep kissing Yuuri.

He'll keep kissing Yuuri.]

[At first, he's a little tense with nerves when their lips meet. Even if he wants Victor right where he is, he's never actually tried to connect with anyone in this way before. The only thing that makes him relax is remembering Victor's words, telling him that he doesn't mind taking it slow.

Finally, he sighs into the kiss, lips parting slightly to let Victor in.]

Mmmn, Yuuri... [a soft, fond moan against the man's lips, between kisses equally so. Slow, slow, savor it... there's so much to savor. Victor's a bit too shameless to realize how turned on he's getting, it's not going to be hidden in these shorts, that's for certain.]

[The way Victor says his name makes him shiver. New as he is at this, Yuuri makes up for it with his enthusiasm. He meets each of those kisses eagerly, memorizing the curve of Victor's lips and learning how to simply lose himself in this feeling.

It's when he shifts, thigh accidentally brushing against Victor's front that he feels it, and freezes.]

[Admittedly, the thigh just barely ghosting passed his erection is a tantalizing feeling. Yuuri seizing up does get him to pull back, somewhat bashful. With a teasing smirk he'll comment]

That's your fault, but don't worry about it. I can endure. [he wants to keep kissing Yuuri, if he's allowed. A little ache is fine by him.]
