[Yuuri brushes the medal away from his head with a halfhearted swipe before they head back to their room.]

Didn't sleep, remember? [Not that Victor hadn't tried to make him nap earlier. Yuuri leans into Victor's side with an amused smile.] I think you're the only coach who would do this, Victor.

[Yuuri certainly doesn't remember Celestino preparing surprises for him when he made the podium.]

Nonsense! Yakov would always have a reward for us, if we won. [Yakov is.... really a very sweet man toward his skaters. Before he opens the door to their room he'll demand]

Plug your nose and close your eyes!

[yokunaru]

[Huh. Yuuri wouldn't have guessed that Yakov would be so kind after seeing how surly he could be. It's a little tidbit of information that Yuuri tucks away for later. For now, he'll focus on Victor's request.]

Okay. [Despite the confused look he shoots toward Victor, Yuuri cups his hands over his nose and closes his eyes.]

[wauuu]

[Victor will lead him into the room and settle him into a seat, turning him toward a table. He scoots around the other side and gets his phone out to take a picture of Yuuri with his face covered, then the reaction when he looks.]

Go ahead! [Victor has a whole spread of food laid out on the table, a mixture of local Chinese food and Japanese food he'd gone through some trouble to get arranged in time. The center piece is, of course, a fresh katsudon cutlet over rice.]

[At first, Yuuri only blinks as he drops his hands and opens his eyes. Then the sight and smell of the food hits him all at once. He gasps, eyes opening wide with surprise.]

Victor... [Yuuri presses his hands to his mouth, actually speechless for a second.] When did you have time to find all of this?

[wauuu]

I made a million phone calls, I think! [he laughs, grinning that heart shaped grin of his]

It won't be as good as your mother's cooking, but you deserve a king's feast! Enjoy!

It's hard to beat my mom's cooking. [He's quick to agree, and he's not biased at all. Really.

After being on a restrictive diet for so long, the spread in front of him looks heavenly. He's definitely wide awake now. For a moment, Yuuri glances between Victor and the food like he's asking, "You're really letting me eat anything on here?"

Gingerly, he picks up a set of chopsticks as he smiles at Victor.]

You're sharing this with me, right?

[wauuu]

Of course, of course! You dig in first. [Victor will pull up a chair, sitting perpendicular to Yuri at the table so he could be close without getting in his way]

Enjoy every bit of it, you deserve the reward after such a long couple of days. [also, Victor feels guilty about pushing you into a nervous breakdown.....]

[With those words, Yuuri lights up and, predictably, goes for the katsudon first. Instead of simply eating straight out of the bowl, though, Yuuri deftly uses his chopsticks to split its contents, moving half into a spare bowl for himself and leaving the rest for Victor. He's not the only one who likes the dish here, after all.

Yuuri smiles at Victor as he pushes the remaining half toward him.] We can split it since you only got one.

[wauuu]

[Victor's touched by the gesture, but he didn't want Yuuri to feel obligated. He should have gotten more, what a silly mistake...]

You have it all, Yuuri! It's your reward, not mine. There's plenty here for me.

[yokunaru]

[There's a stubborn set to Yuuri's jaw, the very same that he has whenever he insists on practicing longer even if Victor says they're done for the day.]

Like you said, there's plenty of food here. [And he does want to sample the Chinese dishes while they're here.] I want to share it with you.

[...it also helps that this isn't his mother's cooking. He'd probably have a harder time giving that up.]

Well, [I want to keep winning and keep eating katsudon with you, Victor" .... he'll reach and take the remaining katsudon, shuffling it onto a plate to pick up a strip of meat with his chopsticks.

Then he'll offer it to Yuuri to eat]

... let me do the honors.

[Yuuri offers him a small, lopsided sort of smile once the flash of surprise is one.] You want to feed me?

[...he's not complaining though. Victor's being extremely attentive right now, and it's...nice. Not wanting to let his own racing thoughts ruin this, Yuuri leans forward and takes a bite of the katsu.]

[Victor nods at the question, presenting the katsu for Yuuri, not making the man lean far to have it. There's a simple intimacy to feeding someone, Victor smiles the whole time, watching Yuuri fondly]

Any good?

[yokunaru]

[Yuuri makes a show of considering it as he chews the food and swallows. To no one's surprise, he decides that it's not as good as his mom's.] Pretty good, though.

[Running a critical eye over the other dishes on the table, Yuuri feels the impulsive desire to reciprocate. He selects one of the small dumplings from its dish and holds it out to Victor, like Victor had done for him just moments ago.] I've seen Guang-Hong post pictures of these before. What do you think?

[wauuu]

[Victor will lean in, blowing some steam from the dumpling before opening his mouth for it. He'll catch it between his teeth, breaking it open to eat. He makes a loud MMMM noise, not wanting to exclaim like usual with his mouth full]

Very good, very good! Dig in, Yuuri, you must be starved.

[yokunaru]

[He doesn't have to be told again. Deciding he'll save the dumplings for later, Yuuri attacks the katsudon with gusto. He's a little more awake now, and the exhaustion and hunger from the day are starting to catch up.

As they're eating, Yuuri's phone pings with a new message. He swallows the mouthful of rice and egg before picking it up and swiping at the screen.]

Ah, it's Phichit. He wants to set up some group thing for tomorrow. [He tilts his head and regards Victor from across the table.] Do you feel like going?

[wauuu]

We should, if you're rested enough by then! You two deserve to celebrate your wins together. [Victor could reminisce on and on about celebrations with Chris, after their shared wins. Some of the best times of his life, those crazy nights.]

I'll keep you from getting too wild, promise.

[yokunaru]

[The comment's a little strange to him--shouldn't Yuuri be the one keeping Victor from getting too wild?--but Yuuri just shrugs.] I don't think you'll have to worry about that.

[He types out a quick response ("We'll be there!") before firmly silencing his phone and shooting Victor a soft, hopeful smile.]

That's for tomorrow. It can be just us for the rest of today.

Very good, I have plenty left to spoil you with, after you finish eating. You deserve a relaxing evening.

[Yuuri pauses in the middle of picking up his chopsticks again.]

There's... more? [He looks bewildered, as a man who hasn't ever really been spoiled by a lover would.] You already got all this food, though...

[wauuu]

I want you to have a full meal, then I'm going to draw you a bath to soak in, and then you're into bed for a massage and sleep. Is that too much? [he doesn't want to dote on Yuuri to the point of making him uncomfortable, that definitely ruined the whole point, but he did want to make up for his... really very selfish behavior.]

[yokunaru]

[Too much? Yuuri honestly has no idea, even if he's looking a little overwhelmed. He ducks his head, smiling.]

I don't know. I've never really had anyone do stuff for me like this before. A bath sounds nice, though... [Yuuri peeks up at Victor this time, a hint of nerves showing. It's been a while since that time he'd asked for help unlocking his Eros, but Victor did just kiss him on live TV, essentially. Surely that means he's still interested?] Are you... going to join me?

[wauuu]

[a bit of a devious look at that, Victor taking a bite of food himself, swallowing before answering]

The bath does fit two. So, yes, if you'd like.

[Yuuri nods eagerly--maybe a little too eagerly, he realizes a second later, though he can't really bring himself to care at the moment. Even if Victor's been free with his touches, they haven't been as close as Yuuri's wanted.]
