[Apparently the other contestant's incredible exuberance has stripped Yuuri of his usual sarcasm filter. It's hard to believe Minami's older than Yurio sometimes.]

[Victor's usual touchy-feely habits and bright smiles make it easy for Yuuri to forget the razor sharpness that those things hide, but he's reminded of it all too well now. Rather than feeling discouraged, Yuuri feels determination flood through him.]

[Admittedly, Victor's phone is silent for a while as Yuuri waits for the other shoe to drop. When it doesn't come, he sits there in shock for another second. Wow, no hidden barbs or anything.]
