[Apollo sighs, fighting the urge to rub at his forehead.]
Next time you practice with the knives, I'm going to stay in the room with you. [His voice is firm, allowing for no arguments.] Telling you "no" isn't going to cut it. I'm not stupid enough to think you won't run off and practice on your own again as soon as I'm looking away.
[He hasn't missed the way she's staring at the door, either. To keep her from escaping, he puts a hand on her shoulder.] It's just antibacterial ointment, Trucy. I'm putting it on after I clean the cut.
...Really? [ She's not sure if that's the best idea. What if another freak accident happened and he got hit? All this means is she's going to have to be extremely careful when he's around. ]
Are you sure it wouldn't be too distracting from your work?
[ She's still not sure about this wound cleaning business. But he's keeping an eye on her and she knows she's not going anywhere now. ] ...W-what are you going to clean it with, then? Wasn't the water enough? I think that it's good enough!
[He cocks an eyebrow at her.] You don't think you getting injured is distracting?
Anyway, even if you cleaned it out before, it's still bleeding. [Apollo squints in the direction of her cut for a second, every inch the concerned, hovering brother.] Stick it under the tap and rinse it out with water again just to make sure it's clean. I'll put the ointment and bandages on after that.
It's not distracting, it's life! Sometimes magicians get hurt. It's no big deal! [ This is her logic. Embrace it, Apollo. ]
Okie dokie, Polly! [ She doesn't really want to, but she's not going to fight it, either. She jumps up and salutes him, running back into the bathroom and nearly tripping over herself in her rush to do as she's told for once. When she returns, she's patting her arm dry as much as she can, and once again she takes a seat. ]
There, all done. I don't even think you need to do ointment or bandages, I think it's okay now!
Oh, come on, Polly! [ She groans, slumping in her seat. Trucy's no baby, but at the same time the thought of forcibly inflicting pain upon herself isn't something that she's looking forward to.
Of course, it's not HER who is inflicting the pain, it's Apollo... but it's for the better good, so with a pout she s l o w l y offers her arm up and watches him. She's going to look this little procedure over, because it's not going to be that bad.
[The corner of his mouth twitches up in mirth at her exaggerated reluctance.]
It can't be that bad, Truce. [As amused as he is, he doesn't notice he's slipped and called her by a nickname instead. Gently, Apollo dabs at the cut, covering the surface with ointment. It probably stings a little, but that's expected.]
[ He might not have noticed, but she does, and she is pleased by it to be quite honest. She's about to say something in retaliation, though, but he's already started and she can feel the stinging.
She stiffens a little bit, but grins anyways. Okay, this isn't as bad as she's making it out to be, but she can't help it. ]
Haha, no, no, it's not bad. Really! This is fine.
[ Except she does tear her eyes away from the cut after a few moments because she's just adding insult to injury by looking at it!! ]
[ She's mentally kicking herself for being so arrogant about her own tricks; had she just been a good girl and followed daddy's stupid 'no knife tricks' rule, this wouldn't have happened and she's got a terrible feeling that's exactly what he's going to rub into her face when he comes home. Probably. ]
Okay, Polly. Thanks. But it's okay, it's not that bad! Take your time!
[ Please don't take your time. She doesn't really mean that, she just wants to sound tougher than she really is. ]
W-well, that's... that was before, you know? [ You're a big brave dog, Trucy. That's it.
She has to blink, though, because suddenly he's done, and it's only now that she looks at her perfectly bandaged injury. No more blood or gore -- other than the bandages, it looks like the injury never happened. ]
Whoa, this looks great, Polly! Thank you! It feels fine -- you should double as a nurse! I can see it now-- Apollo Justice: Ace Attornurse!
That's one word too many, Trucy. [He looks pleased at the praise, though, if only because it means the crisis is over for the moment.]
We--Clay and I--took a first aid class together. Apparently being a lawyer and an astronaut means you might run into trouble. Good to know I remember what I learned.
[It's probably a good thing they did, honestly, now that he's working for Phoenix Wright, who is arguably the most unpredictable person ever.]
[ She can't really find anything to argue back against that, so she pouts for a millisecond, before immediately brightening up again. ]
Oooh, that's cool! Definitely good knowledge to have on hand... hm, maybe I should look into taking a class like that...
[ She taps her chin for a moment, because it does sound like a useful class to take. Except she knows she'll probably lose interest pretty quickly since there's nothing ~*magical*~ about it. ]
I would love that! Do you know how to do stitches?! Oh, I bet we can find a DYI video on the internet!
[ He should probably stop her while he's ahead of the game. She blinks, though, when the subject is changed, and her eyes light up. Whatever trauma she's just been through seems to be completely gone, because she jumps right up and out of her seat at the mention of hot chocolate. ]
Yes! I can make it! You... you just sit down and relax, okay?
Urk. [Apollo coughs, suddenly worried about her enthusiasm.] No DYI videos from youtube, please. How do we even know if any of these people are certified?
Hey, wait a sec. [Chipper as she seems to be, Apollo can't help but still fret over her.] Why don't I do it? You're the one who's injured here.
Well, they probably aren't. That's the point of YouTube, right? We should start our own YouTube channel!
[ This is escalating quickly, and by the second to boot. She blinks at him, though, before placing her hands on her hips. ][ To demonstrate, she curls her injured arm... okay, yeah, that hurts but she can deal with it. She avoided needles! She avoided a hospital visit! She feels invincible now! ]

I'm done. [He sits back, examining his work with a critical eye.] How does that feel? Not too tight?
[Part of him's aware that he's fussing, but it's not like that would be anything new to Trucy.]

[It is good knowledge to have, as this entire fiasco's showed them. He only hopes that Trucy doesn't have to use that knowledge any time soon.
Apollo hesitates for a second, before patting her shoulder a tad awkwardly.]
