[He gives her a look, not sure if she's kidding or not. Unfortunately his bracelet doesn't tell him when someone's ribbing him.]
That's not what everyone else said. You should have seen them laughing. [Then something makes him pause. HOLD IT...] Wait, I thought the cat's name was Jungo.
It is. My friend is also Jungo. He thought it would be the easiest name to remember, even though I warned him that it might make things confusing for the rest of us.
[He can see where this is going. If the cat can't get out himself, then one of them needs to climb in and rescue him. And he sure as heck isn't letting his client be the one to do it. Sigh.]
I'll get him out. I'll need something to climb on...
[Please don't say anything about his height. Just please.]
[Apollo drags the chair over and puts his faith in his own words and steps right on... breathing a sigh of relief when it doesn't go crumbling to the ground.]
All right, cat. Let's get you out of here. [He eyes the culprit grimly and jumps into the (thankfully) mostly empty bin.]
[Drawing from his experience with Mikeko, Apollo creeps closer slowly, holding his hands out for the kitten to investigate. Part of him definitely wishes he had some kind of treat to offer the kitten, to earn his trust.
He's more than a little relieved when Jungo finally, hesitantly butts his head against Apollo's hand.]
I think he's warming up to me.
[Maybe. Hopefully. Apollo strokes the kitten's back to further calm him down.]
[When he can hear the kitten's soft purring, Apollo decides it's safe enough to move. Still cautious, Apollo reaches out and picks the kitten up, stopping whenever Jungo tenses up until he has the kitten cradled against his chest. He sighs in relief.]
Miss Yanagiya, if you don't mind stepping onto the chair, I can pass him to you.
[Careful not to drop the kitten, Apollo passes him over to her. Once she has him, Apollo steps back with a relieved sigh. Unusual client and "job" this was, at least he's accomplished something for the day. Though he might keep this quiet and spare himself the experience of Trucy and Phoenix both laughing at him.]

[ YES, GO ON. ]

... it's Mikeko.
[Something like "Cali" for a calico cat, essentially. Go ahead and laugh at his great naming skills.]
no subject
That's adorable! Jungo should take a hint from your naming sense.

[ LIKE RIGHT NOW... ]
no subject
[Yeah, that's not confusing at all.]
...maybe you guys can shorten it for the cat, give him a nickname instead. That should make it easier.

[ Well. JUNGOS EVERYWHERE. ]
no subject
What about Jungo the First for your friend then?
[Suddenly, the smile drops and he pauses mid-step.] Hey, do you hear that? [He couldn't sworn he'd heard meowing just now...]
no subject
[ Otome pauses as another faint noise reaches her ears... and then she's hurrying over to the nearest dumpster, and straining to peer in.
Sure enough, there's a fluffy orange cat there, meowing at a familiar face. ]
Jungo!

Let's try to get him out of there. If he jumped in, he should be able to jump out, right?
no subject
[ But he's... just sitting there, meowing piteously. ]
no subject
I'll get him out. I'll need something to climb on...
[Please don't say anything about his height. Just please.]

[ OTOME... ]
no subject
Wow, no need to rub it in.

That's alright. [Even if she doesn't mean it as a barb, Apollo's pride can only take so much.] There should be something around here...
[He spies an old looking chair that someone's tossed out, relief swamping him.] That should work.

[ She sounds relieved, though. ]

Miss Yanagiya, if you don't mind stepping onto the chair, I can pass him to you.

[ And sure enough, he'll see her peek over the top soon enough, followed shortly by extended arms. ]
no subject
Everything all clear, miss?

[ There's also a meow from her passenger. ]
